Helen Carroll
Vice President of Human Resources

Helen Carroll is the Vice President of Human Resources and joined Bay City Electric Works in the Summer of 2022. Helen has an extensive background in Human Resources for a variety of industries, with 20 years of experience. Her passion is to support the organizational dynamics, focused on continually improving employee engagement and supporting internal leadership growth. She especially loves being at mid-sized companies, where the impact and execution of individual team members can make a huge difference to the organization and the customer.  

 

While the majority of Helen’s experience has been working with fast growing technology companies, in the San Diego market, she also worked in HR Consulting for 4 years, as the HR Director for up to 11 client companies at a time, in the restaurant, hospital, manufacturing, and professional services industries. Helen has a BA in International Business, from Linfield College and earned her Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). 

 

Outside of work, Helen spends her time trying to keep up with her three sons and sweet, but poorly behaved dog. When she can, Helen unwinds hiking or off-roading her Jeep in the Southern California mountains and deserts.
