The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued it's final exhaust emission regulations in 2010 for emergency Standby Diesel Generator Sets, which took effect on January 1, 2011. This Information Sheet discusses the regulations for diesel standby sets and generator set systems that qualify.
