"As you know, we had a brief power outage today. As far as we can determine it was a local outage affecting only a small part of the city. Our generator kicked in immediately and performed as expected. The engine meter showed that the generator had run for a total of 18 minutes. This is normal and expected for the type of situation we had today.

The power was out for about 3 minutes. During that time the generator was running at full capacity to provide emergency power. Once the city electricity is restored, the generator has to run another 15 minutes at low speed to properly cool the engine down before shutting off.

You will be interested to know that during the large area power outage a few months ago, a significant number of emergency generators all over the southland failed to operate properly because they had received insufficient maintenance. Our generator performed superbly. Thank you Bay City Electric!"

Rod and his team turned this around so fast and so professionally I was just amazed. Having worked as a construction project manager before with General Dynamics I have dealt with many contractors, good and bad. Out of 10 points I would rate Rod and his team a big 10+. They did excellent work and followed up to ensure everything was working after the installation.

The staff came back the next day after I made some corrections to the propane fuel service and the start-up was completed in a very timely manner.
